After my computer comes out of sleep mode, I have to click on my WiFi network each time to get on internet. If I restart my computer, it finds my WiFi network and connects ok. It is just when it comes out of sleep mode. I have tried numerous solutions that people have posted such as removing certain files from my SystemConfig., but have had no luck.

Apparently multiple people are experiencing this problem.
Having the same issue with my iMac after upgrading to Sierra. Tried various suggested fixes
and even said a few prayers. Nothing thus far resolves this problem.
Although having to manually connect after each nap is not the most
pressing problem on this planet, it is however a minor irritant that should be solved by Apple in Sierra instead of
hokus-pokus waste of time trial and error solutions.

Although not a total or permanent solution, in my case following another suggestion
disabling “Wake for network access” under the “Energy Saver” settings in System Preferences."
appears for now to enable automatic wifi access after my iMac sleep. Since making the change I have
not experienced this problem.
